JMG Limited has reinforced its position in Nigeria’s electromechanical and infrastructure sector with the delivery of major engineering and logistics projects across industrial manufacturing, retail operations, and transportation networks in the first quarter of 2026.
The company said the projects reflect a broader strategy focused on building integrated systems that improve operational efficiency, reliability, and long-term scalability across key sectors of the economy.
In the industrial sector, JMG Industrial executed a compressed air system upgrade at the Dangote Cement Plc Gboko plant. The intervention followed a detailed audit, airflow mapping exercise, and system performance evaluation.
The project introduced eight rotary lobe blower units powered by Kaeser compressors to support continuous-duty cement production operations, where stable compressed air systems are critical to pneumatic conveying and material handling processes.
According to the company, the upgrade improved airflow efficiency by 23 percent, while peak airflow capacity increased by as much as 47 percent. The improvements also enhanced pressure stability, reduced energy losses, and strengthened production reliability at the facility.
Expanding into the retail segment, JMG delivered a fully integrated infrastructure solution for Quick Buy Supermarket, combining expertise from JMG Power, JMG Clima, and JMG Electra.
The installation was designed to support uninterrupted 24-hour retail operations through a synchronized energy and climate-control framework.
At the centre of the power configuration are two 550kVA generators and one 330kVA unit powered by FG Wilson Perkins engines, integrated with grid supply to ensure redundancy and efficient load management.
The project also features a hybrid HVAC system powered by Trane rooftop units, VRF zoning systems, ducted airflow networks, and inverter-based cooling systems designed to maintain optimal temperatures across retail and storage sections.
In the logistics sector, JMG Haulage expanded its operational fleet with the addition of 20 heavy-duty trucks aimed at improving nationwide goods distribution across major commercial corridors.
The company disclosed that each truck can transport up to 24 pallets with payload capacities of 45 tons, supporting FMCG and industrial supply chains across Nigeria.
The new fleet combines compressed natural gas-powered trucks capable of travelling up to 1,400 kilometres with diesel-powered alternatives to improve flexibility and operational resilience across varying routes.
Commenting on the company’s Q1 performance, Chief Commercial Officer, Rabi Jammal, said the projects reflect JMG’s commitment to integrated engineering and infrastructure delivery.
“Our focus is on strengthening systems that improve efficiency, reliability, and operational performance for our clients across industrial and logistics value chains,” he said.
JMG said its operations span power generation, electrical infrastructure, vertical transportation, cooling systems, air compressors, and clean energy technologies, including solar and hybrid energy solutions.
