As Hon. (Dr.) Adesola Okunseinde marks her birthday today, the celebration goes beyond the usual messages of goodwill.
For many women, youths and widows within her constituency and local government, Okunseinde has become associated with support, opportunity and grassroots engagement.
Over the years, she has used her relationships and networks to facilitate opportunities for people within her community, with more than 100 women benefiting from empowerment initiatives and opportunities linked to her efforts.
Her support extends beyond women. Young people and widows have also benefited from her efforts to connect individuals with opportunities and support capable of improving their circumstances.
While community development remains an important part of her activities, Okunseinde has also carved out a place for herself in grassroots politics.
She is a political ally of Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka, Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives and representative of the Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
For years, she has supported Isiaka's political activities and remained involved in initiatives aimed at strengthening his grassroots presence and political movement.
Her political engagement also extends to the movement associated with Senator Adeola Olamilekan, popularly known as Yayi.
Okunseinde has been involved in grassroots mobilisation and participated in door-to-door campaign activities, taking political engagement directly to residents and communities.
Away from politics, she is also an entrepreneur.
She is the Chief Executive Officer of Shollies Kitchen, a growing catering business with a presence in Lagos, Ogun State and beyond. She also serves as the APC Assistant Secretary, Ifo Local Government, combining her business interests with active participation in community and political affairs.
But beyond the titles, political affiliations and business activities, those who celebrate Okunseinde point to what they describe as her willingness to support people around her.
