Rite Foods Limited, one of Nigeria’s most formidable brands in the food and beverage industry, has once again proved its unmatched leadership as it clinched four major awards at the 2025 editions of the Social Impact and Sustainability Awards (SISA) and The SERAS Africa Sustainability Awards.
At the SISA Awards, the company bagged Best Health-Focused CSR Programme of the Year, Education Empowerment Champion of the Year, and CEO Champion of Corporate Responsibility. It further added another feather to its cap at SERAS by winning Best in Supply Chain Management, a clear testament to its world-class operations and commitment to excellence.
The ceremonies, held on Friday, November 28 at MUSON Centre and Saturday, November 29 at Oriental Hotel, Lagos, brought together top industry giants, policymakers, and key figures in Nigeria’s FMCG and sustainability space.
Speaking on the recognition, Ekuma Eze, Head of Corporate Affairs & Sustainability, expressed deep appreciation, explaining that the awards reaffirm Rite Foods’ commitment to embedding people, planet, and purpose into its business strategy. He attributed the success to the company’s innovative EYEC sustainability framework—Environmental Stewardship, Youth Empowerment, Education, and Community Development.
“This achievement is a testament to teamwork and collaboration,” Eze said, dedicating the honours to the Rite Foods team and consumers who continue to embrace the brand’s innovative approach to quality and sustainability.
Rite Foods’ impressive product portfolio—13 variants of Bigi Carbonated Soft Drinks, Bigi Table Water, Sosa Fruit Drink, Fearless Energy Drink, and the latest Bigi Flex, Rite Spicy Beef, and Bigi Beef Sausage Rolls—continues to stand out, produced in a world-class facility powered by cutting-edge technology.
While presenting the CEO Champion of Corporate Responsibility award, the convener, Eche Munonye, praised Managing Director/CEO Seleem Adegunwa for his visionary leadership and commitment to community development and impactful sustainability initiatives.
The wins add to the company’s growing list of accolades, including three honours at the 2025 Edge Awards and the prestigious Food Company of the Year 2024 at the Independent Awards—solidifying its place as a proudly Nigerian brand with global standards.
