Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has commended Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for the transformative impact of the Renewed Hope Initiative in Ondo State. The governor also congratulated the winner of the Every Home Garden Competition, a key program under the Renewed Hope Initiative that promotes urban agriculture, enhances food security, and provides economic opportunities for women.
As part of its broader support for women farmers, the Renewed Hope Initiative has been instrumental in launching the Agricultural Support Programme in the South West Zone, in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture. Workshop for Female Elected and Appointed Officers
A specialized workshop designed to strengthen the leadership capacity of female political officeholders, equipping them with the necessary skills to drive governance and policy implementation effectively.
Inauguration of Skill Acquisition Center for Women
A dedicated center providing vocational training to women, enabling them to become financially independent through hands-on skills in various trades and entrepreneurship.
Launch of the RHI/Federal Ministry of Agriculture Young Farmers Club in Secondary Schools
This initiative aims to introduce young students to modern agricultural practices, fostering interest in farming and agribusiness among secondary school students, particularly young female farmers.
