EVELYN JOSHUA, THE LATE TB JOSHUA'S WIFE, HOSTED HER HUSBAND'S CLASSIC 60TH POSTHUMOUS BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION (Details Of The Event)

All road leads to the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Lagos, Nigeria on Monday, 12th June 2023 as family, friends, ministers of God and the body of Christ across the globe gathered to celebrate the 60th posthumous birthday of the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Lagos, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, fondly called Prophet T. B. Joshua who passed on 2 years ago, precisely 9th of June 2021 at the age of 58 years.

The event which took place at the church premises in the Ikotun area of Lagos, Nigeria started with praise by the church choirs. While Pastor Christopher and his beautiful wife, Annette from Poland did the opening prayer.  While Pastor Nicki Vey gave the welcome remarks.


The event which was one of the major activities since the demise of the late prophet 2 years ago, saw lots of pilgrims fly in to attend his 60th posthumous birthday service. The turnout of pilgrims testify that the prophet was a gift of God to all nations, a man who built people instead of building churches and he lived a life of exemplary dedication to God and humanity. It was learnt that all hotels in the axis were fully booked as well over 36 countries were represented. Pilgrim came from the United States of America (USA), United Kingdom, Ireland, Botswana, India, Kenya, Russia, Australia, Ghana, South Africa, Belgium, Togo, Benin Republic, Zimbabwe, and Malawi among other countries.

ABOUT THE HOST

Give it to the Chief Host, Pastor Mrs. Evelyn TB Joshua is the beautiful and dutiful wife of the late Prophet and founder of the Synagogue, Church of All Nations, who had since her husband's demise stepped into his ministry shoe and she had been running it for 2 years now. 

Pastor Mrs. Evelyn was looking pretty in her rich yellow outfit match up with her yellow stone cap was moving around the auditorium to cheer guests up. She also ensure that all guests and church members were well catered for. The late Prophet children were not left out.


WHAT PEOPLE SAID ABOUT HIM

One of the Pilgrims from the United States (US), Kinnack Emmanuel, said he came to celebrate the life of the prophet because T.B. Joshua brought light to his life.

Emmanuel, who is one of the benefactors of Emmanuel TV said: “I received Jesus from Emmanuel TV, the prophet was more than a prophet, he was a teacher, coach, pastor and friend to everybody.


“June 12 is a special day on my calendar because that is the day we celebrate a great gift the Lord gives the world.

“I believe he is here with us and he will always bless us, we miss him so much.”

Founder and Senior Pastor of Champion Royal Assembly, Prophet Joshua Iginla, commended the prophet,  saying he was the greatest prophet of all time. According to him, the departed Prophet took spiritual bullets for many people and stood his ground.

“TB Joshua was a gift to mankind and humanity. He is the firstborn among all prophets, he took the bullet for so many of us”.

Iginla noted that although he was tried and persecuted, the departed Joshua remained focused and displayed maturity in the way he comported himself. ‘He was a man worthy of emulating’, Iginla added.

“We are not only celebrating a man who preaches but a man who has a spirit of love and he is a legend,” Iginla concluded.

Founder of Temple of Light and Miracles Ministries, Bishop Isaiah Ogedengbe, eulogised the life of TB Joshua, saying ‘In charity, he had no classmate and I believe in the grace of God upon his life’.


“He was a mentor to nations, bishops and pastors and, in his humility, he affected the world. He was a man of prayer like David,” Ogedengbe said.

Speaking further, Ogedengbe, commended the wife of the Prophet for maintaining the church since the departure of her husband.

He also appreciated other prophets in the ministry for moving the church from glory to glory.

He added that Prophet T.B Joshua was a man who can never be forgotten.


On his part, Dr. Tee Mac Omatshola Iseli, MFR, an international flautist, said TB Joshua ‘taught me to stay humble, give and believe in God and the Lord Jesus. He was a wonder to many. TB Joshua still blesses us from heaven. He is part of our lives and we all miss him every day.

One of the high moments was when a Russian member said she was representing Russia, Ukraine and Germany. This drew huge applause, as it underlined the love the departed founder preached.


The Islamic Organisation of Nigeria presented the gift of a portrait of Prophet TB Joshua to Pastor Evelyn Joshua. Also, a group of women presented a drawing of Prophet TB Joshua to Pastor TB Joshua.

OTHER SIDE ATTRACTIONS

The gist of the posthumous birthday of Prophet T.B Joshua will not be complete without mentioning other activities performed to make the day memorable.

There was a full minute of celebration in honour of the man of God to celebrate him, according to the Master of Ceremonies she said, "We have not come to mourn the death because we know he is always with us rather we are here today to celebrate him."

There was a brilliant performance by an 11-year-old Esther of the SCOAN Sunday School, who performed in opera format alongside the Classical Thanksgiving Ministration Group and Uche Aghulor with the song “Merciful Lord.”

Gospel artiste Paul Ayeni also performed. While The SCOAN Choir performed a special birthday song for Prophet TB Joshua’s 60th posthumous birthday. They also did song administration like “Break The Chains In Your Life/Not By Power/Not By Might/By The Spirit Of The Lord!” and “The Best Is Yet To Come.”

Also, there was a drama administration by The SCOAN Youths titled “Light”, that is"Choose faith over fear." And the second presentation was titled, "The General" which reflects on the birth of the Prophet.

Divine Music Band, led by Johnson Adumadeyin, was on the bandstand. As Lagos drink vendor, Richbeth was in charge of drinks.

Guests were treated to classical and traditional gospel music and drama performances, alongside children's choreography and cutting of the 60th posthumous birthday cake.
