JUST IN: MEET THE NEW ONDO PDP PARTY EXCO

......As Former lawmaker, Hon. Fatai Adams emerged party Chairman
The People’s Democratic Party PDP in Ondo state have elected new executive members to saddled the affairs of the party for the next four years.

The PDP congress which took place in Akure the Ondo state capital witnessed a large turn out of delegates from the three senatorial district of the state.

A former lawmaker Mr Fatai Adams was elected as the new chairman of the people’s democratic party PDP in Ondo state.

Mr Fatai Adams pulled a total number of 1,343 to defeat his rival Mr Dennis Alonge-Niyi who pulled 369.

Mr Tola Alabere defeated Mr Benson Enikuomeyin to emerged as the vice chairman of the party with 1,395 to 252.

In the secretary position a legal practitioner Mr Oluseye Oluseyi scored a total of 1385.
Total number of void votes is 53

In his acceptance speech,Mr Adams while appreciating the delegates for their support said his first assignment was to unite the party.

Adressing the delegate the outgoing chairman Mr Clement Faboyede appreciate the delegates for their dedication, sacrifice and charged them to embarked on massive grassroot campaign towards the governorship election.

Chairman of the electoral committee Chief Oke Ezen commended the oneness,corporation and above all the spirit of sportsmanship exibitted by the contestant and other members of the party at the congress.

The newly elected execitive members will lead the party for the next four years with the aim of making a significant impact in the upcoming Ondo state governorship election.

Among those who were present at the congress included a former deputy governor of the state Omolade Oluwateru,standard flag bearer  in the October 10 governorship election Mr Eyitayo Jegede among others.
