Fidelity Bank Plc has announced the extension of its flagship Get Alert in Millions (GAIM) Season 6 Promo, adding three more months to the campaign and increasing the total prize pool from ₦159 million to ₦189 million.
The move, announced in September 2025, underscores the bank’s commitment to deepening financial inclusion and rewarding customer loyalty at a time when Nigeria’s economy continues to grapple with inflation, currency volatility, and limited access to formal financial services.
DRIVING FINANCIAL INCLUSION AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has emphasized digital transformation and inclusive banking as key pillars for building a $1 trillion economy. Against this backdrop, Fidelity Bank’s GAIM 6 promo serves as both a marketing innovation and a strategic intervention, designed to empower everyday Nigerians through savings and access to formal banking.
According to Osita Ede, Divisional Head, Product Development, the decision to extend the promo was driven by customer demand.
“They asked for more opportunities to benefit from the promo, and we listened. With management and regulatory consent, we’re thrilled to keep the excitement going for another three months,” he said.
ALIGNING WITH WORLD SAVINGS DAY 2025
The GAIM 6 extension coincides with World Savings Day, celebrated annually on October 31 to promote financial literacy and responsible saving habits. The 2025 theme, “This Is Not a Savings Account,” calls attention to the power of saving as a pathway to financial security.
Fidelity Bank’s decision to extend the promo during this period reinforces its alignment with both global and national financial inclusion agendas.
WHAT SETS GAIM 6 APART
Unlike typical banking promotions that target only high-value depositors, GAIM 6 is designed for inclusivity. With a minimum participation threshold of ₦2,000, the campaign welcomes youth corps members, women, children, and market traders — demographics often excluded from formal banking.
The electronic draws are supervised by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) to ensure transparency.
Beyond cash prizes, participants also receive financial literacy support through the Fidelity SME Hub, which helps winners plan and grow their finances.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Customers can qualify by opening a Fidelity Savings Account through the bank’s mobile app, website, USSD (77001#), or at any branch. Every ₦5,000 saved earns a ticket for the monthly and grand draws.
The final draw will see winners cart away ₦2 million, ₦5 million, and ₦10 million respectively.
A MILLIONAIRE CHRISTMAS ON THE HORIZON
With ₦47 million still up for grabs — ₦30 million in monthly draws and ₦17 million in the grand finale — the final phase of GAIM 6 promises to create more millionaires just in time for Christmas.
So far, 20 customers have already received ₦1 million each in the 7th and 8th draws, bringing smiles and financial relief to families nationwide.
