EXCLUSIVE: "I WAS TOLD I WOULD NEVER WALK AGAIN” — UK-BASED WOMAN TESTIFIES OF HEALING AT ZION MINISTRY LAGOS

A United Kingdom-based woman, Christine Chika Anyanwu, has shared her emotional testimony of how she regained the use of her legs after spending a year in a wheelchair.

Anyanwu gave the testimony last Wednesday at the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach in Okota, Lagos, where she said she experienced what she described as a miraculous healing during the ministry’s weekly adoration programme.

Recounting her ordeal, Anyanwu said her health challenges began on March 26, 2025, when she suddenly collapsed at her workplace in London and became unconscious.

She was later diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder, a condition that affects the functioning of the nervous system.

According to her, she spent about four months in the hospital before she was discharged to continue treatment at home.

However, her condition reportedly worsened after she experienced several falls and multiple seizures at home, which she said resulted in damage to her spine.

The situation eventually left her unable to walk and confined to a wheelchair for about a year.

She said medical specialists she consulted in the United Kingdom had informed her that the chances of walking again were very slim.

Narrating her emotional struggle, Anyanwu said she nearly lost hope before deciding to heed the advice of her mother, who encouraged her to seek divine intervention at the Lagos-based prayer ministry.

Despite discouragement from some family members and warnings from a Catholic nun who reportedly advised her against visiting the ministry, she said she decided to travel to Nigeria.

She also noted that the journey was taken despite medical advice cautioning her against travelling long distances due to her fragile condition.

During the adoration programme last Wednesday, the Spiritual Director of the ministry, Chukwuebuka Anozie Obi, reportedly noticed her seated on a mobility scooter and prayed for her during a deliverance session.

According to witnesses present at the programme, the atmosphere in the auditorium changed dramatically when Anyanwu stood up from the scooter and began walking.

The moment sparked excitement among worshippers at the gathering.

When she later returned to the altar to share her testimony, she said some of the people who had initially discouraged her from visiting the ministry joined others in celebrating what she described as her healing.

The testimony has since attracted attention online, with videos from the event circulating widely on social media.
