Interswitch Group, Africa’s leading integrated payments and digital commerce company, recently hosted the inaugural editions of its global alumni engagement series — The Interswitch Alumni Connect — bringing together former employees for reunion events held in Birmingham, United Kingdom, and Mississauga, Canada.
The initiative marks a major step in the company’s commitment to sustaining lifelong relationships with its alumni community and celebrating the shared legacy that continues to inspire innovation and excellence across industries worldwide.
Launched as part of Interswitch’s people-focused culture, Alumni Connect provides a global platform for connection, mentorship, and collaboration among past and present employees. It reinforces the company’s belief that growth extends beyond the workplace, empowering both current and former team members to thrive while staying connected to “The Switch” spirit.
The first event, held in London, brought together alumni from various sectors for an evening of reflection and networking. Attendees shared stories about their professional journeys, industry evolution, and Interswitch’s enduring influence on their careers.
The second event, hosted in Toronto’s Greater Mississauga Area, continued the celebration of The Switch community, featuring storytelling sessions and a fireside chat with Mitchell Elegbe, Founder and Group Managing Director of Interswitch.
Elegbe, drawing from his over two decades of entrepreneurial experience, inspired participants with his insights on growth, resilience, and purpose-driven leadership.
