REMO DAY CELEBRATION: AARE ADETOLA EMMANUELKING PRAISES AKARIGBO’S LEADERSHIP, SEEKS CONTINUED PROGRESS

The Otun Akile of Remoland and Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Adron Group, Sir Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, KOF, has felicitated the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, Oba (Dr.) Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, and the people of Remoland on the celebration of the second edition of Remo Day, describing the event as a strong reaffirmation of heritage, unity and cultural identity.

In a goodwill message to mark the occasion, Aare Emmanuelking said Remo Day symbolises the resilience, shared vision and collective aspirations of the Remo people whose unity, he noted, continues to inspire sustainable growth, peace and communal progress across the region.

He commended the Akarigbo for his visionary and stabilising leadership, which he said has strengthened traditional institutions and promoted cultural continuity, mutual harmony and good governance in Remoland.

Aare Emmanuelking also acknowledged the presence of the Governor of Ogun State at the celebration, noting that the Governor’s attendance reflects solidarity with the Remo people and recognition of their contributions to the state. He commended the state government for its development strides and people-focused policies.

According to him, Remo Day goes beyond ceremonial celebration, but serves as a symbolic homecoming that honours the sacrifices of past generations while reinforcing shared responsibility toward future development.

He further paid tribute to indigenes of Remoland at home and in the diaspora, whose enterprise, philanthropy and partnerships continue to position Remoland as a centre of economic vibrancy, cultural preservation and social cohesion.

“As a proud son of Remoland, I am inspired by the unity, resilience and sense of purpose that define our people. This celebration should further deepen brotherhood and accelerate sustainable development for generations to come,” he said.

On behalf of his family, the Board and Management of Adron Group, Aare Emmanuelking wished the Akarigbo and all sons and daughters of Remoland a successful and memorable celebration.

He also prayed for the continued peace, prosperity and advancement of Remoland and Ogun State, while reaffirming his loyalty, commitment and support to the land and its people.
