TOP WOMEN, INFLUENCERS TO INSPIRE AT EVENT DIARY LIFESTYLE’S ‘YOUNG CHILD IN SCHOOL’ INITIATIVE FOR 2025 GIRL CHILD DAY

... Oluwatoyin Angel, Amina Omoike, Ginia Bello, Abimbola Atobatele, and Ocare lead lineup for 2nd edition of impactful mentorship program


In commemoration of the 2025 International Day of the Girl Child, Event Diary Lifestyle, in collaboration with the Young Child in School Initiative, is hosting the second edition of its impactful mentorship and empowerment program for schoolgirls in the Ojodu Abiodun community.

This year’s edition, themed “Digital Generation. Our Generation”, with the topic “Girls in Tech: Shaping Tomorrow, Today,” will hold on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Top Teez Academy, Ojodu Abiodun, starting at 10:00 AM.

The event features a lineup of inspiring women making a difference across various fields:

  • Angel Oluwatoyin Y.U.S.-based author of Scrum Moms and Scrum Dads, Human Resource Development expert, and passionate child advocate, who will deliver the keynote address.
  • Mrs. Ginia Bolaji BelloEducationalist and devoted mother, speaking on the role of education in empowering girls’ futures.
  • Mrs. Aboderin Abimbola AtobateleChild advocate and officer with the Correctional Centre, highlighting the impact of digital technology on girls.
  • Mrs. Amina OmoikeMarriage counselor and media practitioner, who will lead the interactive mentorship session with the girls, inspiring open dialogue and engagement.
  • Ocare – Influencer and corporate branding expert, will make a celebrity appearance, motivating the students with her story of personal growth and success.

Speaking on the initiative, Princess Adeola Shittu, Convener of the Young Child in School Initiative and Publisher of Event Diary Lifestyle, noted that this year’s focus aligns with global efforts to promote digital inclusion, gender equality, and technology-driven learning. 

“We are raising a new generation of girls who are not afraid to innovate, create, and lead. This platform helps them see beyond limitations and embrace technology as a tool for change,” she said.

The 2025 edition will also feature an art exhibition, educational games, and word puzzle competitions designed to build teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills among participating students.

The Young Child in School Initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on Quality Education, Gender Equality, and Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure.
