An Osun State–based cleric, Prophet Joseph Idowu Kekereekun, founder of The Power of God Reigneth Evangelical and Prayer Ministry, also known as Miracle Land City, has called on Christians and other religious bodies to intensify prayers for Nigeria, the nation’s economy, the aviation sector, and its leaders.
The cleric made the call during a crossover service at the church’s headquarters in Ilesha, Osun State, where he also unveiled what he described as divine revelations concerning the year 2026.
Prophet Kekereekun, who is known among his followers for prophetic declarations, said the revelations showed that 2026 would be a year of mixed experiences both globally and in Nigeria.
According to him, the Lord revealed that barren women who genuinely serve Him across the four corners of the earth would receive the fruit of the womb in 2026.
However, the cleric warned that the year would also be marked by serious challenges for Nigeria. He said God instructed him to proclaim to the nations that their hearts would be turned away from the government, declaring that nothing good would come out of governance within the year.
He further revealed that although Nigeria would experience a brief season of relief and economic improvement, the respite would be short-lived, as the country would soon return to a period of severe hardship and distress.
Speaking on the aviation sector, Prophet Kekereekun warned of multiple air accidents in 2026, adding that God has called His people to pray fervently so that the loss of lives would be minimised.
On a more hopeful note, the cleric declared that God assured him that there would be no unanswered prayers for His beloved in the year, saying that nothing asked in faith would be denied.
He also declared that God would avenge the blood unjustly shed against His people, urging believers to remain steadfast in faith and committed to prayers for the nation.
The cleric concluded by encouraging Nigerians, irrespective of religious affiliation, to seek divine intervention, stressing that prayers remain critical to averting impending dangers and securing peace and stability in the country.
