In a demonstration of its unwavering commitment to community development and wellness, IT Horizons, a leading Nigerian technology solutions provider, has partnered with ShepherdHill Healthcare Initiative to deliver a free medical outreach to residents of the Magboro community in Ogun State.

This impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative offered residents access to essential health services, expert consultations, and critical health education, reaffirming IT Horizons’ belief that technology and innovation must go hand-in-hand with human-centered development.

The outreach featured:

  • Comprehensive health education on hygiene, nutrition, lifestyle diseases, and preventive care
  • General health screenings, including blood pressure, blood sugar, eye tests, and BMI assessments
  • One-on-one consultations with licensed medical professionals
  • Free distribution of prescribed medications
  • Patient registration and record-keeping for follow-up and continuity of care

In his remarks, Mr. Olusegun Enitan Dada, Chief Executive Officer of IT Horizons, said: “At IT Horizons, we believe sustainable development starts with healthy, thriving communities. This medical outreach is more than charity — it's a commitment to human dignity and shared growth. We are proud to stand with the people of Magboro and contribute to a healthier, more resilient Nigeria.”

Mrs. Odeyemi Toyin, Founder of ShepherdHill Healthcare Initiative, applauded the partnership, saying: “Thanks to IT Horizons’ sponsorship, we were able to reach a community that has long lacked access to basic healthcare. This initiative reflects what Corporate Social Responsibility should truly look like — impactful, inclusive, and people-centered.”

The outreach directly benefited over 200 residents, many of whom expressed heartfelt appreciation for the opportunity to receive quality medical attention — at no cost.

This initiative aligns with IT Horizons’ broader CSR framework, which emphasizes health, education, and digital inclusion. The company recently donated essential safety kits to public schools across Lagos State, reinforcing its mission to drive holistic development and improve everyday lives.

Through sustained investments in grassroots interventions and strategic partnerships, IT Horizons continues to prove that corporate leadership and social impact can go hand-in-hand.
