Amore III of the Oluwa Royal family of Lagos, Oba Mohammadu Moroof Oyekunle Atanda Amodu-Tijani Oluwa made a historic visit to the Baba Oba of Oluwa of Lagos, QS (Alhaji) Shamsideen Okanlawon Oluwa, a retired Chartered Quantity Surveyor at his residence on Monday 22nd January 2024.

The visit according to Kabiyesi is a thank-you visit to his father and a living legend of the Oluwa of Lagos Chieftancy family (Amore sector) and the Ambassador of Tinubu Royal family of Kakawa compound, Campus Square, Lagos state for his love, support and contribution to the Oluwa family and the kingdom at large.
He stated that the battle for the Oluwa throne has been on for 25 years and the vision came through in 2023 in which Baba Oba was instrumental to it. In his words, "Baba Oba I am happy today that you are alive and privileged to witness my coronation as the first Olu Iwa of Apapa kingdom after 25 years.
Baba Oba, QS Alhaji Shamsideen Oluwa, a renowned elder statesman and Quantity Surveyor appreciated Kabiyesi for his visit and he advised the Monarch to embrace peace and use his position as the Royal father to preach peace and unity among his community and Oluwa family at large.
In response, Kabiyesi stated his commitment to the development and growth of his kingdom and also to foster unity among the Oluwa family. Kabiyesi also spoke on building a Multi-Million naira befitting Palace for the Oluwa. Hearing this Baba Oba pledged to give him all the support he needed to actualize the project.
The historic visit set a positive example for the younger generation, highlighting the significance of unity and cooperation in creating a prosperous community.
The Oluwas are one of the prominent families in Lagos and a prominent Idejo (White Cap Chief) in the mainstream of Lagos known for their contributions and impact on the development of the socioeconomic of Apapa land and its environs.
