South African actors Gugu Gumede and S'Dumo Mtshali, the lead stars of Netflix's The Polygamist, are the latest guests on African Voices, CNN International's flagship magazine programme sponsored by Globacom.

Gugu Gumede, who portrays Joyce Gomora, trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles and is widely known for her roles in Generations and Uzalo. Her co-star, S'Dumo Mtshali, who plays Jonasi Gomora, rose to prominence after winning SABC1's Class Act in 2010 and has since featured in acclaimed productions including Intersexions, iNumber Number: Jozi Gold and Back of the Moon.
