Cutix Plc, one of West Africa's leading manufacturers of electrical and telecommunications cables, strengthened its position in Nigeria's construction and infrastructure sector with a strong showing at the 20th Africa International Housing Show (AIHS 2026), where it showcased its innovative cable technologies and secured strategic business prospects.
The six-day exhibition, held at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, attracted real estate developers, engineering contractors, architects, policymakers and construction professionals from across Africa, providing Cutix Plc with a platform to demonstrate its commitment to quality, safety and innovation.
Throughout the exhibition, the company showcased its range of fire-resistant and high-durability electrical cables, with particular emphasis on its flame-retardant insulation technology designed to improve building safety by slowing the spread of fire.
The company explained that the technology enables active flames to extinguish naturally within seconds while significantly limiting flame propagation, thereby enhancing safety in residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
Cutix also demonstrated its Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) low-voltage power cables and heat-treated annealed copper conductors, designed to provide greater flexibility, durability and ease of installation.
Visitors to the company's exhibition stand were taken through live demonstrations highlighting Cutix Plc's strict adherence to internationally accepted cable specifications, including precise conductor diameters and its guaranteed 100.5-metre cable coil standard, aimed at protecting contractors from material shortages and unnecessary project costs.
