As part of its community outreach, ipNX visited Victoria Island Senior Secondary School, Lagos, hosting an interactive session to encourage young girls to explore STEM career opportunities. Students received insights into technology career pathways, mentorship, and practical guidance, supported by the school’s free broadband internet connection provided through ipNX’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Mary Falade, Account Manager, ipNX Business, emphasized the importance of early exposure and mentorship in bridging the gender gap in technology. “When you give yourself to learning, discipline, and growth, you gain opportunities, confidence, and a future without limits. Anything is possible if you believe in yourself,” she said.
Further reinforcing its commitment to women in technology, ipNX hosted a virtual webinar featuring Dr. Nadu Denloye, former Group Managing Director of Telnet Nigeria Limited, as keynote speaker. In her presentation, “Beyond Inclusion: Women Building Influence, Driving Impact and Accelerating Growth”, Dr. Denloye shared her professional journey, highlighting strategies for resilience, leadership, and digital empowerment for women shaping Africa’s tech ecosystem.
Folashade Efiong-Bassey, Group Executive Director, Corporate Services, ipNX, stated: “We are committed to creating pathways for women and young girls to thrive in STEM. By providing access, opportunities, and support systems, we aim to enable meaningful careers in the digital economy and champion equal opportunities for women in technology.”
Through mentorship, advocacy, and digital inclusion initiatives, ipNX continues to foster a diverse and innovative technology ecosystem in Nigeria and across Africa, advancing its vision of creating possibilities and driving sustainable societal impact.
