Payments and digital infrastructure company, Interswitch Group, has announced its return as Timeless Sponsor of the 2025 edition of Rewind: A Flashback Concert, scheduled to hold on December 30 at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The Rewind Concert, anchored by iconic disc jockey, DJ Jimmy Jatt, has grown into one of Lagos’ biggest nostalgia-driven music experiences, celebrating evergreen Afrobeat, hip hop, reggae and R&B hits that shaped Nigeria’s contemporary music culture.
Now in its second consecutive year of headline support, Interswitch said its decision to sustain the partnership reflects the company’s long-term commitment to initiatives that promote shared cultural memory, emotional connection and community engagement.
Speaking on the sponsorship, the Group said the Rewind platform aligns strongly with its brand values of longevity, trust and relevance across generations.
The 2025 edition will feature performances from some of Nigeria’s most influential music stars, including D’banj, Sir Shina Peters, 9ice, Bigiano, Cynthia Morgan and Dr Sid, with curated throwback sets designed to immerse audiences in the sounds and memories of earlier eras.
According to the organisers, last year’s edition recorded massive turnout and intense audience participation, underscoring the emotional pull of nostalgia-themed entertainment.
Interswitch, alongside its brands Verve and Quickteller, will host guests at an interactive engagement booth during the event, offering experience-led activities, networking opportunities and consumer interaction.
The company noted that its sponsorship goes beyond brand presence, explaining that Rewind provides a convergence point for professionals, creatives, media personalities and culture enthusiasts who value authentic storytelling and shared lived experiences.
The concert is positioned as one of the closing highlights of Lagos’ December festive calendar, offering music lovers an opportunity to reconnect with defining cultural moments while celebrating resilience, memory and identity.
