ACCESS BANK DELIVERS FREE HEALTHCARE TO OVER 300 RESIDENTS IN IKOTUN

Access Bank has strengthened its commitment to inclusive development through a rural health outreach in Ikotun, Lagos, under its “One Bank, One Continent – Together for Health” campaign.

The initiative, part of the Bank’s ESG and corporate social impact goals, provided free medical care and essential supplies to over 300 residents. Beneficiaries received health screenings, consultations, and wellness support aimed at improving community health outcomes.

Speaking on the initiative, Esther Graham, Programme Lead, Health at Access Holdings, said: “At Access Bank, we believe access to quality healthcare is a basic human right. Through this campaign, we’re creating real impact by building healthier, more resilient communities across Africa.”

Healthcare professionals, volunteers, and Access Bank staff worked side by side during the outreach, reinforcing the Bank’s message of collaboration and compassion.

One of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Adeola Akinyemi, shared her gratitude: “This programme has brought hope to families in Ikotun. Access Bank has shown that big organisations can truly care for their communities.”

The initiative reflects Access Bank’s purpose-driven business philosophy, balancing profit with social responsibility, as it continues to invest in education, health, and environmental sustainability across Africa.
