The visit, led by the Local Government Inspector (LGI), Mrs. Abosede Ojimi, marked the corps members’ first official courtesy call since the chairman assumed office.
During the visit, the corps members presented a gift as a mark of respect and solidarity. In his remarks, the chairman expressed gratitude for the gesture and urged them to serve the nation with dignity, honour, and pride.

The corps members also presented some requests regarding their welfare within the council premises and beyond. The chairman assured them that their concerns would be addressed, emphasizing that youth development remains a cornerstone of his I.K.E.J.A Agenda.
“Every investment in young people is an investment in the future of our nation,” he added.
The chairman stressed that the familiarization visit is a testament to his administration’s youth-friendly policies and commitment to supporting, guiding, and empowering young people in Ikeja.
