TIME 100: WOMEN AFFAIRS MINISTER IMAAN SULAIMAN-IBRAHIM CONGRATULATES MO ABUDU, OTHERS


The Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, has extended her heartfelt congratulations to Mo Abudu, CEO of EbonyLife Group, and other distinguished African women named among the TIME 100 Most Influential People in the world for 2025.

The annual list celebrates individuals whose impact, innovation, and achievements have shaped global narratives and driven meaningful change. Mo Abudu’s inclusion is a testament to her dynamic career, which has redefined Africa’s image on the world stage through the power of storytelling, enterprise, and advocacy.

The Minister lauded Mo Abudu’s groundbreaking contributions to media and philanthropy, describing her as a trailblazer whose work continues to inspire women and girls across Africa.

“We celebrate the success of women like Mo Abudu who have broken barriers and defied expectations. Her story is not just one of personal triumph, but of hope and empowerment for millions,” the Minister said.

Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim reaffirmed the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs' commitment to promoting equal opportunities, empowering women, and fostering inclusivity in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.

She also highlighted the significance of platforms like EbonyLife TV, which have amplified African voices and perspectives globally, reinforcing the importance of continued investment in initiatives that support women’s leadership and development.
