ACCESS BANK ADDRESSES ALLEGED PRIVACY BREACH BY FORMER CONTACT CENTRE AGENT


Following widespread reports on social media, including a viral post by Instablog9ja, which alleges that a former Access Bank Quality Assurance Specialist, Stephen Ifeanyichukwu Ejezie, secretly filmed over 400 videos of female colleagues in the restroom at the bank’s Oniru office, Access Bank has confirmed its awareness of the incident and has issued a response.

Below is the statement: "We are aware of reports circulating on social media concerning an alleged incident involving a former Contact Centre Agent.

The matter has been escalated to the appropriate authorities, who are currently carrying out an investigation. We are fully cooperating with them to ensure a thorough resolution.

At Access Bank, we maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy against harassment and any violation of privacy. We are also in active communication with the affected employees to offer the necessary support. Protecting the safety, dignity, and well-being of our employees and customers remains our utmost priority.
