A delegation of seven Board and Executive Committee (ExCo) members from the Nigeria-South Africa Chamber of Commerce (NSACC), led by its Chairman, Dr. Ije Jidenma, paid a courtesy visit to the South African Embassy in Lagos. The visit aimed to enhance bilateral relations and explore new trade and investment opportunities between the two nations.
During the meeting, the NSACC delegation engaged in productive discussions with the Consul General of South Africa, Professor Bobby Moroe, and his team. The talks focused on key areas of economic cooperation, including trade expansion, investment prospects, and diplomatic collaboration.
Strengthening Economic and Diplomatic Cooperation
Dr. Ije Jidenma reaffirmed NSACC’s commitment to promoting stronger trade and investment partnerships between Nigeria and South Africa. She highlighted the vast business potential in sectors such as energy, manufacturing, technology, and finance, emphasizing the need for increased collaboration between the private sectors of both countries.

In response, Professor Bobby Moroe commended NSACC’s proactive efforts in fostering economic diplomacy and strengthening business relations. He assured the delegation of the Embassy’s full support in facilitating mutually beneficial initiatives that would enhance bilateral trade and investment flows.
