Systegra Technologies Ltd, a subsidiary of Interswitch Group and a licensed Tier-5 Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE) under the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has announced a strategic partnership with Amdocs to enhance mobile services in Nigeria.
Through this collaboration, Systegra Technologies will empower Tier-1, Tier-2, and Tier-3 Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) to offer seamless mobile services, contributing to the rapid expansion of Nigeria’s telecom sector. By leveraging the Radio Access Networks (RAN) of leading mobile operators and deploying its own Switching and Business Support Systems (BSS)—including an Online Charging System (OCS)—Systegra Technologies ensures that new MVNOs can launch within weeks, without heavy infrastructure investments.
To facilitate 3G, 4G, and 5G connectivity for its MVNO partners, Systegra Technologies has partnered with Amdocs to implement the ConnectX platform in Nigeria. This advanced solution integrates BSS, OCS, CRM, payment systems, and a B2B app store within a cloud-native microservices framework hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). With over 50 TM Forum-compliant APIs, the platform guarantees seamless integration, scalability, and efficiency, supporting Nigeria’s dynamic MVNO landscape while adhering to global industry standards.
