Speaking with newsmen in Ekiti, BGA emphasised that journalists have a responsibility to give the public accurate information, particularly when reporting matters that affect the electoral process and public confidence.
For him, responsible journalism is not about taking sides. It is about allowing facts to speak for themselves and giving the public the opportunity to understand what is actually happening.
His message was a reminder that democracy needs not only credible elections and an independent judicial process, but also journalists who are willing to report the truth responsibly.
