The Borokinni of Ilishan Remo, Adetola EmmanuelKing, has congratulated the Olofin of Ilisan Remo, Michael Olufemi Mojeed Sonuga Daniyan II, on the occasion of his 86th birthday anniversary.
In a goodwill message issued to commemorate the monarch’s birthday, Aare Adetola EmmanuelKing described the revered royal father as a symbol of peace, wisdom, and purposeful leadership whose reign has continued to foster development and unity within Ilisan Remo and beyond.
According to him, since ascending the throne of his forefathers, Oba Sonuga Daniyan II has consistently demonstrated commitment to the progress, cultural preservation, and harmonious coexistence of the people of Ilisan Remo.
He noted that the monarch’s leadership style has continued to inspire confidence among indigenes both at home and in the diaspora, while also strengthening the town’s cultural heritage and developmental aspirations.
“A revered monarch like Kabiyesi deserves to be celebrated for his enduring contributions to community development, peace, and traditional leadership. His reign has brought honour and pride to Ilisan Remo,” he stated.
The Borokinni also prayed for continued good health, divine wisdom, peace, and long life for the monarch as he continues his reign on the throne of his ancestors.
