Wema Bank, Nigeria’s oldest indigenous bank and pioneer of Africa’s first fully digital bank, ALAT, has unveiled its 2026 Valentine’s campaign, “Evolution of Love, powered by Wema Bank”, celebrating all forms of love—self-love, friendship, romantic, and family bonds.
Inspired by the evolution theme of its upgraded ALAT App, the campaign encourages customers to reflect on how their love journeys have grown over time. From singles embracing self-love to friends, married couples, and couples tying the knot this February, Wema Bank ensures everyone has a reason to celebrate.
To participate, customers are required to create a “Love Goal” on the ALAT App and submit a 1-minute video on any social media platform sharing how their love has evolved. Gifts across categories include cash prizes, spa vouchers, romantic vacations, and fully-funded getaways. For one couple getting married in February, the Bank will arrange a special performance by a celebrity artiste at their wedding.
Speaking on the campaign, Wema Bank MD/CEO, Moruf Oseni, said:

To qualify, customers must activate SAW, the Voice Banking assistant on the ALAT App, fund a “Love Goal”, and transact with their ALAT/Wema card between February 1 – 10, 2026. Submissions must be posted on social media with #ALATEvolutionofLove, tagging @alat_ng and @wemabank.
