The 2025 edition of the NBG Grand Finale ended on a historic note for Wema Bank as the team secured 9 gold medals across highly competitive events. The bank excelled in Table Tennis (Female Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles), Volleyball, Scrabble, Video Games, 100m Female, 200m Female, and the 4x100m Female Relay—showcasing depth, versatility, and exceptional athletic talent.
A major highlight of this year’s tournament was the recognition of Oluwaseun Adewunmi, a standout Wema Bank athlete, who earned the prestigious title of NBG 2025 Overall Outstanding Athlete. Her brilliant performance across multiple categories further underscored the bank’s commitment to excellence and talent development.
