After over a decade of driving conversations and shaping public opinion, celebrated broadcaster Morayo Afolabi-Brown is officially set to part ways with TVC Communications, the media powerhouse behind TVC News, TVC Entertainment, Max FM, Adaba FM, and Yanga FM.
Her resignation was confirmed by TVC’s Public Relations Manager, Edward Akintara—will take effect on Thursday, August 29, 2025. Morayo, who is both the Managing Director of TVC Entertainment and host of the flagship all-women talk show Your View, is stepping down to pursue a personal passion project she has nurtured for years.
“After 12 impactful years at the helm of Your View, Morayo has chosen to step down in order to fully dedicate herself to a passion project,” Akintara said in the statement.
“While we are saddened to see her leave, we celebrate her outstanding contributions to the show, the network, and the countless lives she has touched across Nigeria and beyond.”
Since launching Your View in 2013, Morayo Afolabi-Brown has become a household name—moderating conversations around politics, women’s rights, family, governance, and social development. Her authenticity, empathy, and thought-provoking questions helped define the show's voice and made it a daily staple for many Nigerians.
Although she’s leaving her official role, TVC emphasized that Your View remains strong and committed to its mission, while Morayo remains “a beloved member of the TVC family.”
“Her legacy will always be a valued part of our story.”
As one of the most recognisable voices on morning television, Morayo exits TVC not only with a loyal following but also with a record of amplifying the voices of women, youth, and underrepresented communities.
Her next chapter is one that will be watched with both admiration and anticipation.
