CELEBRATION OF LIFE: ADEMOYO FAMILY SET TO SHUT DOWN ONDO TOWN AS THEY HONOUR MAMA JOANAH ADEMOYO WITH GRAND FAREWELL


All road leads to the ancient kingdom of ONDO from the 14th to 16th of May 2025, as the Ademoyo Family will be hosting guests, dignitaries, and loved ones from all walks of life to celebrate the glorious exit of their matriarch, Madam Morolagbe Joanah Ademoyo (née Adeseyoju), a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who passed on at the age of 95 years.

The late Madam Joanah Ademoyo was the woman of substance, deeply rooted in faith, family, and service. A revered mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she was known for her strength, wisdom, and devotion to God and family. Her impactful life will be honoured with a series of events carefully arranged to reflect her grace and legacy.

The three-day celebration of life will commence on Wednesday, 14th May 2025, with a family visit to the Ondo State Children Welfare Home, Oba-Ile Road, Akure, at 9:00 AM, reflecting the late matriarch’s heart for compassion and charity.

On Thursday, 15th May 2025, by 9:00 AM, a Commendation Service will be held at Christ Anglican Church, Federal Housing Estate (Shagari Village), Akure. Later that evening, by 4:00 PM, the Christian Wake and Service of Songs will take place at her residence, No. 28 Temidayo Street, Off Surulere, Ondo Kingdom, where family, friends, and neighbours will gather to sing and share heartfelt tributes.

The final rites will be held on Friday, 16th May 2025, beginning with a Burial Service at St. Stephen Cathedral Church, Oke-Aluko, Ondo Kingdom, at 8:00 AM, followed by interment

Her legacy of kindness, discipline, and resilience lives on in her successful children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who are leaving no stone unturned in ensuring a befitting and memorable celebration of a woman whose life was filled with love, resilience, and service to humanity.

She is survived by Mr Oluwatoyin Ademoyo, Prof. Adeolu Ademoyo, Barrister Babatunde Ademoyo, Mr Gbenga Ademoyo and Mrs Oluwabukola Tolu Akinbogun.
