Seven months after his retirement from Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), Bishop David Abioye is set to begin Sunday morning services at his new ministry starting next Sunday, May 4.
Bishop Abioye, who formerly served as the Vice-President of Living Faith Church, alongside Bishop Thomas Aremu, stepped down in October 2024 following the introduction of a new administrative policy mandating the retirement of leaders at the age of 55. At the time of their departure, Bishop Aremu was 67 while Bishop Abioye was 63.
Since his exit, Abioye has led a non-denominational ministry that has been holding Sunday evening fellowships. However, speaking at the close of service yesterday, April 27, the revered cleric announced a significant shift in schedule.
"Very important information. From next Sunday by the grace of God, our service is migrating to morning. Hallelujah. And the time is 8am. God bless you mightily in Jesus’ name," Abioye told his congregation.
The bishop emphasized that his new ministry was birthed from a divine mandate, not personal ambition, and he continues to encourage his followers to seek personal revival as a foundation for broader spiritual renewal.
The development marks a new chapter in Abioye’s decades-long journey of pastoral leadership and spiritual influence.
