The Order of the Golden Heart of Kenya is the nation’s highest civilian award, bestowed in three ranks: Chief (CGH), Elder (EGH), and Moran (MGH). Dr. Adesina now joins an elite list of recipients, including former U.S. President Barack Obama and the late Nelson Mandela. His visionary leadership at AfDB has spearheaded initiatives that drive food security, energy development, and infrastructure growth across Africa, further cementing his legacy as a key architect of the continent’s progress.
