FIRSTBANK MAKES HISTORY WITH NEW 40-STOREY, GREEN-CERTIFIED HEADQUARTERS

FirstBank, the premier financial institution in West Africa and a leader in financial inclusion services, has marked a historic milestone with the groundbreaking ceremony for its new 40-storey, green-certified Iconic Head Office Building in Eko Atlantic City, Lagos. This ambitious development, set to become Nigeria’s tallest building, embodies FirstBank’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and world-class banking standards.

The technologically advanced, eco-friendly skyscraper will not only redefine the Lagos skyline but also set a new benchmark in engineering and environmental sustainability within Africa’s financial sector. Designed with state-of-the-art smart technology, energy efficiency measures, and modern architectural sophistication, the building aligns with FirstBank’s vision of fostering economic growth while reducing its carbon footprint.

Speaking at the ceremony, Olusegun Alebiosu, CEO, FirstBank Group, emphasized the transformative nature of the project: "We are proud to mark this significant milestone in our journey towards excellence. Our new Head Office is envisioned as a world-class structure that represents our dedication to innovation, customer satisfaction, and sustainability.
