WINNER OF INTERSWITCHSPAK 6.0 RECEIVES N15 MILLION SCHOLARSHIP AND OTHER PRIZES

Henry Ndudu Ekong, a student of Pegasus School in Akwa Ibom State, has emerged as the winner of InterswitchSPAK 6.0, securing the prestigious title of Nigeria’s best STEM student in the renowned national science competition. His exceptional performance earned him a university scholarship worth N15 million, spread over five years, alongside a monthly stipend and a new laptop to support his academic journey.

Eric Denyefa Omare of St. Gregory's College, Lagos, claimed second place, receiving a N10 million scholarship over three years and a laptop. David Umeojiaka of Graceland International School, Rivers State, took third place, earning a N5 million scholarship for one year and a laptop.

Students who placed fourth through ninth also received cash prizes, while the top 18 semi-finalists and 27 committed teachers were honored with special recognition awards. Furthermore, the top 200 students from the preliminary stage were awarded free JAMB e-PINs, enabling them to register for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams at no cost.

This year, Interswitch significantly increased the total prize pool to over N30 million, representing a 140% rise from the previous N12.5 million. This move underscores the company’s dedication to advancing education and fostering innovation.
