Born on August 16, 1980, in Lagos State, Rt. Hon. Ojora-Meranda is a proud indigene of Lagos and a dynamic public servant with a legacy of impactful leadership. Representing Apapa Constituency 1 since 2015, her unwavering commitment to legislative excellence has earned her the respect of her peers and constituents. EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE AND PROFESSIONAL FOUNDATIONS
Her journey to leadership is built on a solid foundation of education and professional experience. She began her academic pursuits at Randle Primary School (1986–1992), then attended Lagos Anglican Girls Grammar School (1992–1996) and Ansar-Ud-Deen Secondary School (1996–1998). She later obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Lagos State University (LASU) in 2013, alongside an Advanced Certificate in Software Development (2005). Currently, she is furthering her education at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
Professionally, Rt. Hon. Ojora-Meranda has excelled in various roles. From her early days as Personal Assistant at the Office of the Surveyor General (2003–2007) to Procurement Manager at Cirrus Nigeria Limited (2007–2008), and her time as Head of Operations at Worthline International Services Limited, she has consistently demonstrated leadership and competence.
POLITICAL CAREER AND LEGISLATIVE IMPACT
Her political journey began in 2008 as the Senior Special Assistant on Intervention and Inter-Government Affairs at Apapa Local Government. She later served as Supervisor for Health (2011–2014), a role in which she spearheaded health initiatives for her community.
Elected to the Lagos State House of Assembly in 2015, she has served in the 8th, 9th, and now 10th Legislative Assemblies. Known for her dedication to governance, she has been a vocal advocate for policies that promote community development, gender equality, and economic growth.
