Mouka, a renowned producer of mattresses and bedding products, ushered in the New Year by celebrating the first babies of 2025. In its longstanding tradition, the company supported families with newborns across 13 states, including Lagos, Oyo, Imo, and Kano, by donating essential baby items.
In Lagos State, Mouka collaborated with the First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, to honor the year’s first newborns at Isolo General Hospital, Ifako-Ijaiye General Hospital, and Ikorodu General Hospital. The celebratory events included gift presentations and a special gathering for all first babies born in Lagos between 2020 and 2024.
The gifts included Mouka Dreamtime Baby Mattresses, designed to ensure infants' comfort and promote healthy sleep, along with pillows, diapers, and other baby care products. Speaking on behalf of the company, Brand Manager Tolani Tijani emphasized, “Our Dreamtime mattress is crafted to foster physical and cognitive development in infants. It is breathable, water-resistant, and designed with the perfect foam density for children’s comfort.”
Similar celebrations took place in other states, with Mouka representatives visiting healthcare facilities to present gifts to families of New Year’s Day newborns. At the University College Hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State, Baby Asimiyu, born at 12:01 a.m., and Baby Olaniyi, born at 2:43 a.m., were among those celebrated.
Expressing gratitude, many parents applauded Mouka’s goodwill, which reflects the company’s dedication to enhancing the quality of life for Nigerians.
