In her opening remarks, Princess Adeola Shittu, founder of Event Diary Lifestyle and the Young Boys in School Initiative, stressed the importance of creating opportunities for boys to grow into empathetic and responsible men. “This event is about breaking barriers and building a foundation for a brighter, inclusive future. Our boys deserve the tools to thrive and lead meaningful lives,” she said.
To secure a brighter financial future for the winners, the organizer opened accounts for the first, second, and third-place winners at Access Bank's Ojodu branch, where their cash prizes were deposited. Access Bank was selected for this initiative due to its outstanding reputation as a leading financial institution, known for its commitment to financial literacy and youth empowerment. Additionally, the bank’s support for the program played a significant role in the organizer's decision, ensuring that the winners not only celebrated their achievements but also took their first steps toward financial responsibility with a trusted and innovative banking partner. The event’s success was made possible through the support of sponsors, including Access Bank, Mamuda Beverage (makers of Pop Cola), Mutual Benefit Assurance Plc, and the Akin Ogunbiyi Foundation, alongside media partner Pathfinder News. The dedication of the management and staff of Top Teezs Academy and Highscope Schools further ensured the program’s impact. Representing Top Teezs Academy, Mrs. Ayodeji Orojo, through Vice Principal Mr. Alani Ibrahim Chimeze, commended the initiative, saying, “Empowering boys today sets the stage for a future rooted in equality and mutual respect. This program is truly transformative.” This event underscores Event Diary Lifestyle’s commitment to challenging societal norms and equipping boys with the tools they need to overcome obstacles, build healthier relationships, and drive positive change in their communities. |
