Veteran Yoruba actress Ayo Mogaji recently shared her insights on the challenges women face regarding marriage, particularly as they approach the age of 35. In an interview on Oyinmomo TV’s YouTube channel, she offered advice to women who remain single by that age.
Mogaji suggested that women who aren’t married by 35 should consider having a child, even if the man isn’t ready to take on the role of a father. She emphasized the importance of motherhood and encouraged women to pursue their desire for a family rather than waiting for the perfect circumstances.
She also highlighted that many women become overly focused on their careers and personal achievements, which can delay their marriage prospects. While success is essential, Mogaji cautioned that time passes quickly, and women may later feel unfulfilled in their personal lives.
Additionally, she discussed how some men perceive women between the ages of 35 and 40, complicating dating for women in this age group and adding pressure as they navigate their choices and desires.
Mogaji stated, "A woman who can't find a husband by age 35 should consider getting pregnant by any man to have a child. If she can find any man she is comfortable with, even if he isn't ready to take responsibility, she should go ahead and have a child."
