AKEREDOLU DEMISE: FORMER SPEAKER ABDULSALAM MOURN AKEREDOLU'S DEATH

I am deeply saddened to hear about the untimely demise of the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Odunayo Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, CON. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the entire Ondo State community.

Governor Akeredolu was not only a well-respected and renowned lawyer but also a brave leader who dedicated his life to the betterment of the people of Ondo State. His commitment to justice and the rule of law was exemplary, and his passion for serving his constituents was unparalleled.

During his tenure, Governor Akeredolu made significant strides in various sectors, particularly in the area of infrastructure development. As the former Commissioner for Works under his administration, I had the privilege of witnessing firsthand his unwavering determination to transform the state through various developmental projects.

Beyond his credentials, Governor Akeredolu will be remembered as a "talk and do" governor. He could translate promises into action that set him apart. He consistently demonstrated his ability to follow through on his commitments, delivering on the aspirations of the people.

Today, Ondo State has lost a visionary leader, and we are left with a void that will be challenging to fill. However, we must take solace in the fact that Governor Akeredolu's legacy will continue to guide and inspire us. His contributions to the legal profession, governance, and the overall growth of Ondo State will forever be etched in our hearts.

As we mourn the loss of Governor Akeredolu, let us also celebrate his remarkable achievements and the indelible impact he made on the lives of countless individuals. May his soul rest in peace, and may his family find strength and comfort during this difficult time.
