In his word, I sympathise with the families that lost their properties to the fire outbreak, may Almighty God comfort them. I want to use this medium to set the record straight, contrary to the media report by some media houses that our filling station was razed down by the fire outbreak, we quote “the fire razed down the filling station and a building beside was also affected”. They further reported that “An eyewitness narrated that the tanker, which carried Premium Motor Spirit also known as petrol, was at a filling station in the community to transmit into the underground tank of the filling station through a big pipe when it caught fire”.
The publication is not only false but misleading because the incident occurred while the tanker driver was trying to make a U-turn at the filling station and the fire outbreak altered just a side of the petrol station, it was not razed down as reported.
We appreciate everyone who stood by us during this trailing period, and we again sympathise with those who lost their properties to the fire incident.
