Addressing the youths of Uniabuja, the facilitator, Comrade Gold provided voters with information on participation in the coming general election.
She tasked the young eligible undergraduates' voters with relevant information on what they needed to know ahead of the election.
National Chairman of the CityBoy Movement, Hon Shoga Francis called on the registered Youths to come out on Election Day to exercise their franchise right. "Your Vote is your power" he encouraged and enjoined the youths to shun election violence, exercise their franchise, secure their future and choose the right leaders that will get the job done.
Speaking at the program, the National President of Progressive Young Women Forum, Seun Bosede Osamaye equally encouraged the youths on the need to be proactive and get actively involved in the electoral process.
"This general election will record a high turnout of young voters, which shows that Nigeria Youths have prioritised voting and are ready to be part of governance. She said.
And we are here to teach you the A-Z of what you need to know ahead of 25th February" She added.
The high point of the program was the talent display session where one of the students entertained the audience with his hype talent.
In response, the SUG President of UNIABUJA, Comrade Emmanuel, appreciated the efforts taken by the Progressive Young Women Forum and CityBoy Movement to reach out to the institution with the empowerment and Awareness Programme.
