Nigeria might not have done enough to celebrate and immortalize the memory of the late Muda Lawal, one of its finest football players who gave all his best to the country and died at the prime age of 37 years. The lovely family he left behind are doing so well in their choice of career.
Three gorgeous daughters of the late soccer icon; Bose, Bolanle and Bisola have become thriving Entrepreneurs in the world of fashion and beauty.
Muda Lawal is survived by five children - four girls, their brother and their mum, Mrs Yetunde Muda Lawal who did not remarry since her late husband's demise 31 years ago. The first daughter, Olatunde Muda Lawal is a UK-registered nurse and midwife. They are based in the United Kingdom but are all closely connected to Nigeria as they visit regularly. They have remained a united, lovely family since they lost their hero as kids.
Bolanle (King Mhoooda) is a model and a fashion designer. Her brand is called BML Couture. Her sister, Bose Muda Lawal is a beauty and fashion entrepreneur. She owns an outfit called Ruby by BML Bisola Muda Law is into beauty, cosmetics and personal care. She owns T.Lore @t.lorebeauty based in the UK. She is also a registered nurse and midwife.Mudashiru Lawal, popularly known as Muda Lawal, was the first African player to appear in five consecutive African Cup of Nations tournaments from 1976 to 1984. He was popularly called the “midfield maestro” and wore Jersey number 4 for the Eagles for 11 years. Born in Abeokuta on June 8, 1954, he was an accomplished footballer.
He guided Nigeria to its first African Nations title at the 1980 African Nations Cup in Lagos. Mudashiru Lawal died in his home in Ibadan on July 6, 1991, aged 37 of suspected heart attack. 31 years after, this great footballer’s exploits and artistry on the field of play remains fresh in the memories of Nigerians.
