Going by a viral video of the eldest daughter of late Mrs Oluchi Eva on social media who wept seriously as her mother and their only hope was lay to rest today with other victims of the June 5th Owo Massacre.
The daughter narrates how they lost their dad in 2016 and now their mum, she said they were not in the church with their late mother that fateful day, it would have been a total wipe out of their entire family.
The video caught the attention of the former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Ondo State, Mr Femi Adekanmbi who offers them accommodation and said he was ready to adopt the three children. This was declared on his official Facebook page.
He wrote; To the Glory of God, I've directed that these kids who are now orphans as a result of the Owo incident relocate to my house as I've decided to adopt them as my children. I wept profusely when I watched this video. Children that lost their dad in 2016 and now their mum, are so sad but we thank God that they were not in that church with their late mother that day, it would have been a total wipe out of an entire family.
The former commissioner is a native of the Owo kingdom
