CHAIRMAN OMIYE MICROFINANCE BANK, OLOYE ESAN OGUNLEYE SET TO BECOME ATAYESE OF OTUN EKITI

All road leads to Otun- Moba ekiti as hundred of important personalities, Politicians, Capitan of Industry's and Celebrity's from all walks of life will be storming the palace of Oore of Otun Ekiti, Otun Moba local government area of Ekiti state on Friday 26th, November, 2021 as His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeayo Adekunle Adeagbo, Ilufemiloye 1,Okinbaloye II, the Oore of Otun Ekiti and Paramount ruler of Mobaland, Ekiti state will be celebrating his first Coronation Anniversary as the Ooreof Otun Ekiti.

As part of the activities to celebrate the day is the installation and conferments of Chieftaincy Title to prominent personalities across the globe. One of those to be honoured with Chieftaincy Title is Oloye Samuel Esan Ogunleye, FCIB, ACHMC, an industrious son of Ilupeju Ekiti, Chairman Board of Directors, Omiye Microfinance Bank and former Chairman Tennis Section Ikoyi 1938, Oloye Samuel Esan Ogunleye, FCIB, ACHMC will be installed as the Atayese of Otun Mobaland, Otun Ekiti. The installation of Oloye Esan Ogunleye as the Atayese of Otun Ekiti will take place at the palace of Oore of Otun Ekiti by 10am. Followed by splendid reception at his Ilupeju Ekiti resident at No 1, Omi Abidan Street, Ilupeju Ekiti. While Prof. Ajayi Ogidiolu Alaro will be on the band stand. The planning committee headed by Mr. Mike Osatuyi are leaving no stone unturned to entertain their guests.

MEET THE NEW ATAYESE OF OTUN EKITI OLOYE ESAN OGUNLEYE - FCIB, ACHMC

Oloye Esan Ogunleye is an accomplished Professional Banker with over 35  years experience in International Financial Markets and a specialist in the Banking Industry.He is a fellow of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, FCIB, Associate  of the Chartered Institute of Bankers London, ACIB, and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Conciliators and Mediators.

Oloye Esan Ogunleye, an Alumnus of Lagos Business School and the International Graduate School of Management - University of Nevarra, Barcelona, Spain, has a distinguished career, spanning Merchant, Commercial and Universal Banking, androse through the ranks to become the pioneer Managing Director/CEO of Triumph Merchant Bank Plc. He served at various times, as Director on various Boards of Financial Institutions and was instrumental to the formation and establishment of Banks, Discount Houses and Other Financial Institutions.

Oloye Esan Ogunleye currently serves as: Chairman, Board of Directors – Omiye Microfinance Bank Ltd. Chairman, Board of Directors – OGB Asset Management Ltd. Chairman, Board Audit Committee Mobil Oil Nigeria Plc (Now 11Plc.) 

He is a Member, Board Audit & Risk Committee- MIXTA REAL ESTATE NIGERIA PLC(formerly ARM Properties).  He is  one of the Directors, Pilot Finance Ltd. 

He is Member, Finance ,General Purpose and Governance Committee- Pilot Finance Ltd. Chief Examiner- Microfinance Banking Examinations-The Chartered Institute of bankers of Nigeria. Member; Finance & General Purposes Committee -The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. Member- Ekiti State Covid-19 Response& Resource Mobilisation Committee.(RRMC). Chairman- Funds Management & Monitoring Committee. (Ekiti RRMC)

He served as Registrar & CEO of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (2000-2006), and played active roles in the establishment and implementation of the Code of Ethics and Professionalism for the Bankers Committee which was constituted into an ADR option for dispute settlements for the Banking Industry. 

Some of his notable awards include: Gold Award as Outstanding Community Leader, Ilupeju Ekiti, Ekit State. Recognition Award as a Most outstanding Inlaw, Ile Oluji, Ondo State. Award of Honour in Recognition of Tremendous Contribution to the Banking Industry in Nigeria- The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. In the recent years as Chairman, Board of Directors, Omiye Microfinance Bank Ltd, Oloye Esan had successfully piloted the Bank to assist over 10,000 (Ten thousand) economically active individuals through grass root financial inclusion across Ekiti State. He served as President of Ilupeju- Ekiti Development Association (IDA) and currently as Trustee of the organisation.

Oloye Esan was a Two- Term President of Ekiti Parapo, Lagos.
