It was an evening of honour on Sunday 28th March, 2021 as the lawmaker representing Akoko south west constutiency 1 and Chairman, Ondo state House of Assembly Committee on Information, Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Olugbenga Omole was honoured alongside with Babajide Akeredolu and other personalities in the Sunshine State of Ondo state.
The event which took place at OSDPC multi purpose hall, Ijapo Estate, Akure was well attended by the big wigs in the society .
The Lafftabank Incorporation Organizers honour Akogun as fondly called by associates with "The Political Youth Icon of the Year Award during the "Lafftacy with MCLayor" show.
Hon Olugbenga who acknowledged the award promised to redouble his effort to do more for his constituency and the state at large.
He appreciated the organizers for honouring him with the Political Youth Icon of the year award , "The organizers have done a very good job and have been consistent over the years by observing that the leaders are keeping to the mandate given to them by the people" he said .
Akogun promised to continue to advocate for the Youths because of their importance to the society .
Other awardees are Babajide Akeredolu, as Phenomenal Personality of the year, Alhaji Kunle Salami Alada, as Business icon of the year, Prince Frederick Adewale Emmanuel Owoleye, as Supportive Personality of year and Adesoji Samson Omotade,Philanthropist of the year
