Ondo 2020: Ibi Giga Ambassadors As Overwhelming Victory Pedestal For Aketi

As political activities are becoming more intense in Ondo State ahead of the October 10, 2020  governorship election, the second term aspiration of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu is almost made realistic with flurry of initiatives by Ibi Giga Ambassadors. 

Although, the primary duty of marketing the unrivalled achievements of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has been made a lot easier by the governor himself. It is a fact that not even members of the opposition parties can in good conscience accuse Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of poor performance in office. To a very large extent, Aketi has churned out sterling performances that have practically silenced the opposition. 

To a large extent, Aketi has become a highly marketable brand which Ibi Giga Ambassadors is finding a lot easy to sell to the discerningly good people of Ondo State. Achievements of Aketi are clear enough for everyone to verify and appreciate in all the 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State. Achievement footprint of Governor Akeredolu can also be clearly seen in all the sectors of Ondo State. 

The idea of Ibi Giga Ambassadors was mooted by Chief Alex Ajipe for the primary aim of projecting the unrivalled achievements of Governor Akeredolu and ultimately actualize his second term aspiration. Ibi Giga was convened by Alex Ajipe midway into 

the first term tenure of Aketi and the group had since taken the gospel of Aketi to the nooks and crannies of Ondo State. Without being immodest, Ibi Giga Ambassadors group has truly endeared Governor Rotimi Akeredolu to an average electorate in Ondo State through its many supportive initiatives. 

Ibi Giga Ambassadors had

set out early on a mission to achieve the re-election of Governor Akeredolu even long before the real political foot soldiers of APC had  thought it necessary to roll out plans for same purpose. The convener of the foremost campaign group for the re-election of Akeredolu, Chief Alex Ajipe had in June 2020 donated some branded vehicles to aid the mobilisation of party faithful and the electorates. The group had also went a step further by joining some members of Ondo State House of Assembly to raise N35 million, out of which a cheque of N22.5 million was presented to Governor Akeredolu to obtain the APC 2020 Expression of Interest and Nomination forms ahead of the July 20, 2020 governorship primaries.

Ibi Giga Ambassadors had since assembled a formidable team to manage and coordinate its affairs. 

The group has Professor Lanre Olu-Adeyemi as its Director General with Barrister Alaba Eniola-Ajipe as the Deputy Director General. The duo of Yinka Salard Akinterinwa and Dapo Daramola have since taken charge as the head of the media think-tank. In addition, the group had empowered hundreds of Ondo residents and it had also rolled out palliative relief packages for its members while coronavirus pandemic lockdown was biting the most. 

In its proactive bid to ensure a landslide victory for Governor Akeredolu in the the July primary election as well as during the October 10, gubernatorial contest; Ibi Giga Ambassadors which is the foremost political platform in Ondo State had approved the appointment of Coordinators and Administrative  Secretaries for all the 203 Wards in the state. The Coordinators were charged to engage in aggressive mobilization of people in their domains towards the re-election of Arakunrin Akeredolu. They were also enjoined  to publicise the achievements of Aketi, mostly in the areas of industrialization, infrastructure, Health, Education and Agriculture. The coordinators and administrative secretaries were likewise charged to dedicate their energy and expertise towards ensuring the success of Akeredolu's re-election project.

This strategic effort is definitely a 

master stroke in the real sense of securing victory for Akeredolu even ahead of the October 10 governorship election. 

The interest of Ibi Giga Ambassadors in the re-election of Governor Akeredolu is simply to  engender the socio-economic growth and development of Ondo State. The group is also committed to the re-election of Aketi in view of the fact that majority of the governor's projects are set up to secure the future for generations that are yet unborn in Ondo State. Convener of Ibi Giga Ambassadors,  who is also the CEO of Klick Konnect Network, Chief Alex Ajipe had always been very emphatic on the unprecedented efforts Akeredolu at opening up Ondo State for economic prosperity. Also, giant strides of Governor Akeredolu in infrastructural developments in the areas of roads and classrooms construction as well as massive investments that were facilitated by Aketi's administration as anchored at Ondo-Linyi Industrial Hub in Ore. 

The group had also described the afforestation project embarked upon by Akeredolu's administration as one that is key to economic prosperity of Ondo State in the near future. Ibi Giga Ambassadors group is  also very keen on the appreciation of the leadership qualities of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu because he has so far demonstrated that he truly mean business of good governance in Ondo State. The group had also made it known to the people of Ondo State Aketi had metamorphosed from a mere appellation to solid movement through which a new economic course is being charted for the people of Ondo State. The group had also asserted through its convener, Alex Ajipe that the vision to make Ondo State accessible from Lagos, Abuja and the East was already being actualized by the administration of Governor Akeredolu. The ease of doing business in Ondo State had already been hugely improved upon through the efforts of Governor Akeredolu. 

As things stand today in Ondo State, generations yet unborn in Ondo State will be eternally grateful to Rotimi Akeredolu for the multi billion dollar Ondo-Linyi Industrial Hub.

Little wonder that the relentless efforts of Alex Ajipe through his Ibi Giga Ambassadors had been nationally recognized by the National leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC). The recognition had manifested in the appointment of Alex Ajipe into the APC Election Campaign Committee 

for the re-election of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu. Meanwhile, the appointment of Alex Ajipe had nonetheless been described as 

significant, unique and symbolic,  going by his ingenious and committed efforts in the
