NEWS FLASH: WHY ONDO DEPUTY SPEAKER WAS SUSPENDED

Following the impeachment saga of the Ondo state Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi which took place at the Assembly complex on Tuesday July, 2020, two lawmakers have been suspended.

According to the leadership of the Ondo state house of assembly led by the speaker of the house, Rt. Hon Bamidele Oleyelogun has suspended two lawmakers for unruly behavior.

The affected lawmakers are: the Deputy Speaker of the house, Hon. Irioju Ogundeji from Odigbo constituency-one, Hon Favour Tomomewo from Ilaje constituency-2 and Hon Adewale Williams representing Ondo West constituency II.

While Majority Leader, Hon. Suleiman Jamiu Maito resigned as the Majority Leader of the house.
