IT WAS CLEARLY REVEALED THAT THE MONEY HAS ALREADY BEEN SPENT IN 2018 BEFORE IT WAS FRAUDULENTLY PLANTED INTO THE 2019 BUDGET TO COVER UP THE SCAM.

"To know what happened in 2018, you have to review the 2019 budget summary for an actual revenue generated by the state in 2018. In 2018, there is a line item called "Cash Reserves and Rollover fund" of over N4 Billion. Hmmm. Is a 4 billion "cash reserves fund" regular in Ondo State? I reviewed all the other budgets from 2017, 2019 and 2020 and found that this was a unique year for rollover. Oh look! I found the money in three clicks. Then I asked myself, should 4Billion be an issue or should it be treated politically? I reviewed many of the other revenue generated and there are three other major revenues that were two to three times this figure that were not politicized. Noise most unnecessary -BABAJIDE AKEREDOLU

"The Executive is not hiding anything as we have always said. The narrative set out by mischief makers is that there was no appropriation for the money in question. This is untrue. The 2019 appropriation passed by the Assembly included among others, this N4.3bn under the overall summary of the budget, item on cash reserve/rollover fund is very apt and unambiguous for the public to confirm the truth.
