Chairman and Managing Director of the company, Mr James Ukachukwu, said the private sector has an important role to play in complementing government efforts and creating opportunities that can contribute to a stronger economy.
According to Ukachukwu, Nigeria’s future will require greater investment in people, technology and sustainable solutions that can improve the quality of life of citizens.

Ukachukwu also emphasised the importance of people and communities to sustainable business development, noting that commercial growth should be pursued alongside safety, community development and responsible stakeholder engagement.
“Our people remain our strength. Our communities remain important partners. Our responsibility is to pursue growth while remaining conscious of the people and environment around us,” he said.
He added that BOCA Energy Resources Limited would continue to support initiatives focused on opportunity, innovation and responsible development.
The company’s commitment to professional partnerships was also reflected in its recognition, alongside BOCA IT Systems Limited, during the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Lagos State Council Correspondents’ Chapel Press Week in June 2026 for contributions to the energy, technology and corporate sectors.
Ukachukwu further called for stronger collaboration among government, businesses, professionals, civil society organisations and citizens, saying national development should be treated as a shared responsibility.
