Ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections, political stakeholders, party leaders, youths, women, and artisans in Oka Akoko Wards 5 and 6 have declared total support for President Bola Tinubu, Bola Tinubu, Akogun Olugbenga Omole, Dr. Ategbole, and Hon. Elegbeleye ahead of the forthcoming primaries.
The declaration came during a strategic grassroots campaign tour across Akoko Southwest Constituency I in preparation for the House of Representatives, Senate, House of Assembly, and Presidential primaries scheduled for May 16, 18, 20, and 23, 2026, respectively.
Hon. Akogun Olugbenga Omole met with party faithful, community stakeholders, artisans, women groups, and youth representatives in Oka Akoko Wards 5 and 6 as part of ongoing consultations ahead of the APC primaries.
The gathering was attended by ward chairmen, ward executives, councillors, youth leaders, and other party stakeholders across the two wards.
Welcoming the former lawmaker and immediate past Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Transport, community leaders commended Omole for what they described as his consistency, accessibility, and impactful representation over the years.
Speaking on behalf of the ward chairmen, Ward 5 Chairman, Agunloye Felix, declared that Wards 5 and 6 had been “fully sealed” for President Tinubu, Akogun Omole, Dr. Ategbole, and Hon. Elegbeleye ahead of the APC primaries.
He assured the aspirants of massive support and commitment from party members across the wards.
The event was marked by chants, applause, and expressions of solidarity from party supporters and residents.
In separate remarks, youths, women, artisans, and community leaders reaffirmed their loyalty and pledged continued support for the re-election ambitions of Hon. Akogun Olugbenga Omole and other APC candidates.
According to them, their support for President Tinubu, Akogun Omole, Dr. Ategbole, and Hon. Elegbeleye is rooted in their perceived contributions to the growth and development of Akoko Southwest Constituency I.
The campaign meeting ended with appreciation to the people of Oka Akoko Wards 5 and 6 for their warm reception and continued support.
Organisers also announced that the campaign train would move to Ward 1 Ibaka and Ward 8 Oka Odo on Friday, May 15, 2026, as consultations continue ahead of the APC primaries.
